The new update is reportedly rolling out to the Xiaomi SU7 Pro, SU7 Max, SU7 Ultra, as well as the new YU7 SUV. Xiaomi says that the new ADAS improvements come by way of integrated AI capabilities, which have been trained on millions of minute-long video clips of real-world driving scenarios including visual data from built-in cameras, as well as LiDAR and mmWave radar information. Based on the provided data, the AI then learns how to react to different driving situations, bypassing the need for pre-programmed instructions and teaching the AI to react in a manner that’s based on driving experience.

Xiaomi adds that this training process involved 10 million clips of different driving scenarios. The company adds that this has resulted in improved acceleration and braking by as much as 57%, better obstacle navigation by up to 67%, and a 23% improvement when handling intersections.
