The Browser Company tries to win back Arc users
A few weeks ago, The Browser Company updated Dia with a handful of features, including Focus Mode, which originally appeared on Arc, the company’s first browser.
At the time, The Browser Company CEO Josh Miller said that more of “Arc’s greatest hits will be redesigned for Dia.”
Now, the company has updated Dia with a few extra features that first appeared on Arc, including a sidebar mode.

As noted by TechCrunch, the strategy may be working, at least for some users:
With the AI-powered browser wars heating up, The Browser Company (now owned by Atlassian) can hardly afford to further alienate users who, at least once, showed a willingness to move away from their old browsers.
And while it is very clear that many Arc users still feel burned by The Browser Company’s sudden pivot to a new project, the company’s latest move to bring back so-called “fan favorites” might help repair some goodwill among those who end up deciding to give them a second chance.
