I am currently transferring my dad’s iPhone SE to an iPhone 16e and can’t get past this screen. I’m open to try whatever at this point because my next step is taking it to Apple. I’m pretty good at navigating through issues and have been the one in charge of my parents phones since they upgraded to iPhone but this has me stumped!! I’m looking for any input/advice/guidance on how to get past this sign in page. I am going on hour 6 of trying to get this to work.

I changed his Apple ID password online hoping that would trigger something but then I get the same spinning screen.

I have restarted both phones in case it was a glitch or Something. And I’ve restarted the transfer process from step 1 at least 15 times at this point.
