Long time iphone user since 2015 (6, 6s+, 11, 15) and have never had a phone break in any way. Currently using a 15 with Verizon and I'm also a LEO. A week ago I ended up fighting a suspect and we both fell to the ground, on the same left side where my phone was in my cargo pocket. Screen is fine and didn't think anything happened to it. Today I took the case off to clean the phone… and sure enough my phone is actually bent. Screen and back glass intact and everything seems to be working just fine.

Unfortunately I didn't get the Verizon phone insurance and don't have Applecare other than the 1 year limited warranty. I don't have access to a replacement chassis or the tech know-how to fix it. Dunno if I should just roll with it or see if Apple can fix it for a fee without me being screwed since this is on a monthly payment upgrade from my 11.
