Amazon’s Black Friday gaming deals include the return of the best Meta Quest 3S deals to date. The entry-level 128GB headset is on sale for $250 and is bundled with $50 Amazon Credit. This particular Quest 3S 128GB edition is exclusive to Amazon and comes with in-game content for the popular multiplayer game Gorilla Tag. Alternatively, you can upgrade to the Meta Quest 3S 256GB Batman Bundle for $329 (was $400). This bundle includes Batman: Arkham Shadow ($50 value) and $49 Amazon Credit to use on a future purchase.
Amazon is once again price-matching Best Buy with this deals–though Best Buy’s 128GB bundle comes with The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners ($20 value). Amazon first offered the free gift card deal last weekend in response to a Doorbuster deal at Best Buy. Those deals expired on Sunday, and while Amazon kept the price points the same, the gift card freebie was removed from the deal. If you happened to buy the Quest 3S from Amazon on November 17-18, you may want to cancel/return your order and repurchase to get the extra $50.
$250 (was $300) | Amazon Exclusive
The Amazon-exclusive Quest 3 Cardboard Hero Bundle comes with $45 worth of in-game content for Gorilla Tag, a popular free-to-play online game starring gorillas without legs who love playing variations of tag. The content bundle comes with 1,000 Shiny Rocks (in-game currency) as well as the Handiwork Helmet and Armor.
The $50 Amazon Credit will be added to your account 30 days after your order ships, and you have until March 20, 2026 to use it.
New Quest headsets also come with a three-month free trial to Meta Horizon+. The subscription service typically costs $8/month and features a rotating library of games to play–similar to Game Pass–as well as two games to claim each month. The freebies remain in your library even if you cancel your subscription, so new Quest users are getting seven free games over the next three months. The promotional trial is only available to new subscribers.
$329 (was $400)
Batman: Arkham Shadow is an impressive action-adventure game that faithfully recreates the experience of being the Caped Crusader in VR. It’s exclusive to Quest 3 and 3S headsets and is one of the showpiece games on the platform.
As mentioned, the $329 price matches the all-time low. If you’re wondering why the free Amazon Credit is $49–technically $49.01–it’s likely due to the fact Amazon shaved an additional 99 cents off the headset’s price. It would be $50 if the headset was selling for $330.
The Quest 3S is a lightweight, standalone VR headset that comes with two wireless Touch Plus controllers. It’s strong enough to play a wide range of impressive VR games directly on the headset’s internal hardware, including showpiece titles like Batman: Arkham Shadow, Asgard’s Wrath 2, and Assassin’s Creed Nexus. For VR games like Half Life: Alyx that are beyond its built-in capabilities, the Quest 3S can be synced to wirelessly to a gaming PC or with a compatible link cable. You can also cloud stream games and use the headset as a wearable projector to watch movies and TV shows.
Meta’s entry-level VR headset is a modified version of the more powerful and expensive Quest 3. Both models have 8GB RAM and use the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 chipset, which is a noticeable leap forward from the Quest 2. Outside of storage differences–the Quest 3 has 512GB–the internals are the same. Both versions come bundled with the wireless Touch Plus controllers, too. The Quest 3 has more advanced lenses, which results in a larger, clearer image. That said, the Quest 3S still looks great and can play the same games, and it even has slightly better battery life (2.5 hours).
