Monster Hunter Wilds’ endgame and post-launch have been rather rough for many players. And for major fans of the series, they want the game to be grand like World. Well, the developers are aware of the issues, and Title Update 3 aims to deliver some fan service, new bosses, and other content updates to enjoy. The good news is that the Title Update 3 release date isn’t too far away either, launching on September 29.
During the Capcom Online Special for Tokyo Game Show, Capcom revealed the content roadmap for Monster Hunter Wilds.
The current Title Update 3 plans are as follows:
- Title Update 3 release date on September 29, launching with the Final Fantasy XIV collaboration, bringing new cosmetics for Seikret and Palico, alongside two new weapons for the Black Knight and Pictomancer, for some content updates.
- On October 22, Title Update 3 will get the Arch-Tempered Nur Udra boss for players to battle, marking the third Arch-Tempered boss added since the game was released.
- Also, players can get their hands on the Festival of Accord event – Dreamspell. The Dreamspell is the game’s Halloween update, adding some new content. This event takes place between October 22 and November 12.
The main content bulk is the two new weapons. The Black Knight is a greatsword spin-off, including the Bale armor. The Bale Armor set grants a power-up called the Blackest Knight. There is also a Great Sword called Shadowbringer that has an exclusive weapon skill that does a special downward sweeping attack, giving off Shadowbringer spell effects.
The Pictomancer is about making drawings come to life. Having the soul of a Pictomancer in your item pouch allows you to cast Pictomancy spells like Pom Motif, Wing Motif, and Mog of the Ages based on what we could see in the teaser trailer.
If that’s not enough, the developers teased some new content for Title Update 4, featuring a new Festival of Accord for Christmas and New Year, alongside new endgame improvements. They didn’t share what to expect entirely, other than a brand new boss called the Gogmazios is joining the game. It will feature alongside major endgame improvements, apparently, and an Elder Dragon encounter.
