Heading into week thirty-nine, it seemed likely that at least one of the two releases slated for the week would change the line up.

But in order to illustrated that I first need to setup how things stood at the start of the week.

Week 38 Scores

Even as I wrote the week thirty-eight post both of this past week’s releases had strong review scores.

• Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles

  • Score has gone UP from 86.1 to 88.5
• Ghost of Yōtei
  • [Picked by Frabjous Day Enterprises (Archey)]
  • Now has a score of 88.2

Both of those stayed pretty close to that, there being adjustments that added up to maybe a point for each, so that when Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles released, that shook up a bit of the top end of the scoreboard.

That jumped Shilgrod up two spots, pushing Shawn and Shintar each down a peg.

Then, two days later, when Ghost of Yōtei also released, there was another change up further down the ranks.

So the week saw six out of ten players in a new location in the rankings, leaving the scoreboard looking like this.

Week 39 Scores

Only the top three and last place stayed the same.

In addition, there was an updated release date announce.

A reminder that just because a title has a specific date listed doesn’t mean that is going to happen.

It was time for me to drop that and bid on something new, which I promptly did.

    • Won by TAGN HQ (Wilhelm) with a bid of $12
    • Dropped game ‘Cairn’ conditionally

So not I am down with ARC Raiders, which I picked mostly because Heartless seems keen on its coming launch over on his blog.

That leaves the upcoming releases looking like this.

Week 40 coming up

We have three releases on tap for the coming week.

Absolum will be interesting, because that will be the final release for Bhagpuss.  His score will be set in a week or two and we’ll then have to see who has a chance of besting it. [Okay, maybe his next to final release.  I might have written this week’s post in a bit of a hurry.]
